Cleo writer, Phoebe Hooke was told she needed $17,000 worth of plastic surgery in order to be beautiful.
One of Sydney's leading cosmetic surgeons told her she would need a nose job, eyebrow lifts and fillers in order to be beautiful.
She was told that her nose is currently dominating her face and a plan was needed to fix it.
Hooke asked a range of clinics what work she needed to fit into the glossy magazine industry, revealing that she was an employee of CLEO.
One clinic advised her to undergo a pretox, cosmetic surgery designed for women her age.
She was told a brow lift could be followed by a nose job to make the bump on her nose look flatter.
Another consultant told her she was missing cheekbones and advised her to buy $400 worth of medical grade cosmetic products.
This included fillers to balance out her overly manly jawline.
